Sizes of Downloads for CC

Hi

 

I would like to know the sizes of any download from CC.

 

I have a capped subscription for the Internet and therefore I simply need to know what I can download when, and for that I need to know the file size.

 

Should be quite easy to give that vital information together with the description in the CC app.

 

Or is the filesize already hidden somewhere?

cuando estoy haciendo la actualizacion de cloud (dreamweaver) en todo momento me genera error " VERSION DREAMWEAVER CC(diciembre 2013).

Se ha producido un error al instalar esta actualizacion. Codigo de error U44M1I210, lo he intentado desde diferentes equipos sin mas usuarios en la red y ha sido imposible hacer ka descarga

At least once a month, I get an error message when I try to update Creative Cloud on both my Macs, error code A12E1. How do I get rid of that?

 

Will my CC subscription work if I uninstall that feature?

Creative Cloud Update won't install

Every time I boot up my computer (MacBookPro running Maverics 10.9.1) I get a message that Creative Cloud update is available, when I click OK, nothing happens.  When I download from CC update, get message with error code A12E6.  Replace Adobe Application Manager, no help.  Don't know what's up but have no Creative Cloud in menu bar and whenever I try to open the Creative Cloud application, get the same update message and whole thing starts over.  Help?

Keep having to log into CC PS/LR.

I have seen this issue a few times on here but no solution has been proven to work.  I am running Win 8.1 on my laptop.  64bit, 8GB ram, Intel I7, 700GB HDD.

 

I am getting tired of having to log in.  Please help with a solution.

Can't access tools?

I am unable to access any tools that aren't the primary tool in the toolbar.

I have reset all settings, restarted, closed the program multiple times, and I can't get any of it to work.

 

Upon first open after install I was unable to access any 'hidden' tools. Click and drag at the arrow to see others doesn't work like it did in CS5.

One single instance, I clicked a tool and alt allowed me to cycle through alternates, but that hasn't worked since for that tool or any other.

 

I tried setting up a custom toolbar, but since I can't access them I can't drag them onto it.

 

Setting up new custom key commands was my next step, but those are working only intermittently at this point. Ex: I set 'Y' up to be type on a path. Clicking Y flashes to that tool and then it immediately goes back to the select tool.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this? It has to be some kind of glitch. Others in my office are able to pull the toolbars out.

I've been importing video into Premiere using a firewire port on my PC, but now I'm shopping for a new computer and I need to know what I need to import analog video and audio into my system.  Any ideas are appreciated.

Mini bridge was not working.  I searched for solutions, but unable to find one.  I uninstalled Bridge, and my product list "shows me up to date" and no link to download Bridge again.  Thank you.

Aufgrund der Mitteilung, dass ein Update für die Creative Cloud vorliegt, versuchte ich 5x vergeblich, das Update down zu laden. Immer kommt die Fehlermeldung: "Folgendes Problem ist aufgetreten: Creative Cloud Desktop konnte nicht installiert werden." (Windows 7). Das nervt ziemlich. Woran liegt es?

I am trying to download the Creative Cloud application or even just Photoshop which I urgently need for tomorrow. I have already posted that while using the online web download page, when I click on the download button all I receive is a blank page. The last piece of advice I was given was to use the chat option on one of the Adobe pages but that didn't connect either.

 

Now when I try to follow any replies to that post all I get is a blank page when I click on any option on the "My Stuff" link. What is going on? Also, can someone please, please, please help me. This is really frustrating. All I want to do is download the CC stuff I am paying for.

 

Sorry if this sounds nasty but I am getting desperate here.

Creative Clouds inability to share folders, .mpg4 or .mpg3 files

We know this issue has attracted other comments on other forum threads but our aim is to allow other users to possibly add voice for a change of policy.

 

It is our understanding that Adobe Creative Cloud allows file folders, mpg3 and mpg4 to be uploaded but not shared. We found this out today when a customer in London urgently required an array of mpg4 files which after uploading to the Adobe Cloud we were met with the message "You are not allowed to share this file. Please contact support with any questions you may have." 

 

It was suggested elsewhere that this was Adobe helping to prevent piracy as these file formats are the "bread and butter" (ye olde Scottish saying...well maybe UK)  of internet pirates. To that end you could commend Adobe for taking a stance. However..and its a big however..mpg4 files (for us anyway) are our main "bread and butter" and no doubt the main file type used by those whose work involves producing video for the internet. As far as the pirates are concerned (we presume) this stance by Adobe will make no difference whatsoever to their criminal behaviour. To "ban" the use of certain file to be shared from the cloud can be compared to banning people from using public roads as thats where the car thieves drive their stolen vehicles, You could argue the policy would work not realising your are bringing the whole place to a standstill.

 

So to Adobe could we commend you for trying to do something to stop "theft online" but ask you to reconsider your policy of file sharing for two simple reasons:-

 

1.     It will be completely inefectual as the pirates did not use Creative Cloud before (its new) and use other means and

2.     You are penalising your own customers by preventing them from working effectively.

 

We found ourselves going back onto dropbox and bypassing the software products we live by. (Viz Adobe Software).

 

Could we invite anyone else who feels that these files (file folder, mpg3 and mpg4) need to be shared on the cloud to add comment and hopefully Adobe will take this on board as a matter of urgency.

 

Adobe good intentions but mega stumbling block to effective working.

 

If however this is some technical issue (and not as suggested above on forums) then could someone please direct us to a solution. We did contact support who suggested we might want to try the forums.


Update CC - AdobeAAMDetect is Okaz.A trojan

My setup is OSX 10.9.1 with ESET Nod for Mac. Been using CC since last summer, and this morning there was an update to the CC Manager. During the install, my ESET flagged a component as trojan. In case there's something off with the update process, here are the details from the ESET log:

 

/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/Utils/AdobeAAMDetect.plugin/Contents/MacOS/AdobeAAMDetect

 

Threat description: probably a variant of OSX/Okaz.A trojan

 

 

Other than that, my CC and Adobe products seem to be working fine.

Can't install any app.

When I click on download trial, nothing is happing, nothing is showing up in my creative app.

 

I have cs5.5 suite install on my pc currently.

CC Updater fails ... again

Start from a clean power off situation and I am notified an update to CC is available. Click, get a message to "Connect to the internet and retry". But wait, I am connected to the internet. My emails have downloaded, my browser is up and showing me the current weather, I can even log on here. Nay! CC updater tells me to connect to the internet and retry. Click, nope, retry, repeat ad nauseum.

 


Frankly I am getting very tired of what appears to be Adobe security methods getting in the way of my work. I pay for my service. I am not a pirate. Yes I have a network security program running - who values their work and doesn't. I shouldn't need to disable it for even an instant to accomodate Adobe. It would be during just that instant when roaming malware would seize the opportunity.

 


I have suffered through the "Building Criteria endless loop" problem with Bridge

 


I've suffered through the "Login ... oops you can't because you are logged out" problem.

 

I have suffered through the "Agree to the EULA and complete your registration ... again and again and again and again" problem. In fact I expect I am still suffering with that one. Don't know yet. I thought I would do the update first, which I can't.


I am sick of paying real money to Adobe and then to be treated like I am the criminal. I am sure the software thieves haven't had to put up with any of this nonsense.

 

So if Adobe is monitoring this - (probably not), it is time to reward those who pay. Stop everything else every one of your developers is currently doing and get them focused on removing the obstacles that honest, paying subscribers are dealing with. Give us seamless, easy, reliable access to the products we are paying for. More than that, I think we all deserve a subscription extension to compensate us for all the time we have wasted "trying" the variety of possible solutions that we ourselves have posted in this forum.

 


Oh and by the way. Let me know when I can actually click Retry and complete the CC update.

Photoshop CC will not open directly from Lightroom 5.3 on Mavericks

Since upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop CC, when I try to edit a file in Lightroom 5.3 by Edit in Photoshop CC, I get an error message saying that CC cannot be opened. This did not happen prior to the latest CC upgrade (This error also does not occur if I click on Edit in Photoshop CS6). If I open CC first and then move the file from Lightroom to CC it works fine. What has happened? How do I fix it?
