Adobe creative cloud works best for me and i wouldnt want it to change for the world. I think its great paying one price and having multiple places to put my software on my differnt machines at home and work. Adobe, the reason why it went to creative cloud not only to make it easier for companies working on 1 project from multi locations, but clearly its to stop piracy. I been using adobe products since before the company bought macromedia and took on fireworks and dreamweaver and ever since then, this is the firs time in forever people are actually being forced into paying for the software.
I think the old model of downloading the trial and replacing the application file with a encripted one or hacked one days are over and adobe isnt stoping its methods for anyone. It's a great thing knowing that i pay money for software that i know i can make back doing 1 freelance job and i have paid for my subscription 3 times over from that 1 job. Adobe is tired of loosing money and so am i. The main reason why sfotware goes up is becaue people are finding new ways to not pay for it and its hurting companies big time!
I dont have a lot of money, and i dont have a sucsessful business like most people but i do see between the lines. Paying 29.99 a month for the whole bundle, instead of over 1,000 in one shot is much more economical for me.
I dont use the cloud services as much as i should, but being able to have the same applications at home and the same applications at work is a great thing. Especially since other freelance companies that i work for dont have adobe. Cloud services makes things much more mobile from an application stand point, other then a file one.
