Creative Cloud multiple desktop problem on Mac OS X

On Mac OS X, if I change the desktop by swiping with the touchpad, the Creative Cloud app in the menu bar unexpectedly opens.

This happens every time I switch to an empty desktop using a mutli-touch swipe gesture.

If the new desktop has a window open, Creative Cloud generally seems to behave correctly; it is only when the new desktop is empty that the Creative Cloud panel opens (seemingly from the menu bar icon) for no good apparent reason. Also, it does not always seem to open when I switch by clicking on a desktop in Mission Control instead of using a swipe gesture, but in this case a tell-tale sign is the phrase 'Creative Cloud' in big white letters on the desktop background inside Mission Control.

I am running OS X Mavericks 10.9 developer preview on a MacBook Pro with retina display. I have not been able to verify that the problem also occurs with Mountain Lion 10.8, but I suspect it has something to do with the handling of NSWorkspaceActiveSpaceDidChangeNotification, which has existed since OS X 10.6. If it turns out that this is not a problem in Mountain Lion (or earlier releases of OS X), I am of course aware that Adobe is not expected to make this work correctly on an as-yet unreleased version of OS X.
