Creative cloud subscription cancelled?

my previous Creative cloud subscription was cancelled - Adobe told me that this was because i sent them no proof of eligability however i have just found an email i recieved off Adobe thanking me for sending the proof of eligability and saying that they have recieved it. Is this Adobes mistake for cancelling as i did send proof? I have now had to set up a new subscription due to old one being cancelled.
