Adobe Creative Cloud has deleted my settings. Help!

I am a Avid editor who has unfortunately found the need to learn Premiere. And have been using the software in anger for almost 12 months now.

Aside from a million complaints about stability, general operation and not being able to see a graphical view of my keyboard settings. I would like to know if it is standard practice for Adobe to delete my creative cloud settings during the periods of non-subscription. For some reason my system and keyboard settings are no longer available to download and when downloaded / synced I am presented with the standard setup. Which for me, makes my ability to edit impossible (being an Avid editor I only use the keyboard - its much faster). Can anyone inform me if deleting settings from the cloud is common practice. And if so, how do I restore from a USB stick.

How do I sync libraries and fonts across different subscriptions?

At work my company has a CC subscription I use on their computers. At home I have my own CC subscription. I'd like to be able to have whatever fonts I install at work, or libraries I create, automatically sync between the two. Is there a way I can do that?

 

It'd be nice to have some kind of system where I could associate 2 subscriptions together for sharing assets and things.

Captivate 6 in Creative Cloud?

Will Creative Cloud (CS6 and beyond) include Captivate 6? All other applications in eLearning Suite 2.5 are already in the Creative Cloud so it seems reasonable that Captivate would go to the cloud too. If I get everything in Creative Cloud that is in the eLearning Suite there seems to be no reason Captivate can't go in there too.

 

Hearing just bit about Captivate 6, I have heard nothing about any new eLearning Suite. Is it because the Creative Cloud has it covered? Another reason to put Captivate in the Creative Cloud, I think.

Creative Cloud Desktop Application Won't Load Apps

I've downloaded the creative suite and set up my account with adobe, but my Creative Cloud app won't load apps, it stays on the spinning blue wheel, despite clicking 'Download Now' on certain apps to prompt it. Any help would be much appreciated.

How can I download previous version of Photoshop CC because my 3rd party plug-in (Kwik) is not compatible with Photoshop CC 2014.

In the Creative Cloud where it shows I have Photoshop CC 2014 installed, it says "Previous versions" and doesn't show any prior versions of Photoshop. I need Photoshop CC because my Kwik plug-in won't work in the 2014 version. How can I download it?

Hallo,

 

Ich möchte gerne Photoshop CC testen. ich habe den App-Manager heruntergeladen, aber es werden gar keine verfügbaren Programme angezeigt, sondern es erscheint ein Fenster "Downloadfehler, klicken Sie auf Wiederholen oder wenden Sie sich an den Support." Das Wiederholen funktioniert nicht, ein Deinstallieren des Managers und erneutes Wiederinstallieren hat auch kein besseres Ergebnis gebracht. Weiss jemand Hilfe?

Ich habe OS 10.8, Firewalls und PopUp-Blocker abgeschaltet.

 

Für eine Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!

OSX Lion: launching CC desktop apps causes total freeze-up

I just started using Creative Cloud last week, after various upgrades to my Mac. I'm now running OSX Lion (10.7.5). I downloaded the CC app, Photoshop, and Illustrator with no problems. I've been using them with no problems.

 

Then yesterday, I did 2 things differently: 1: I tried out uploading/syncing a couple of documents for the first time, and 2: I attempted to upgrade PS and AI, since the Adobe Application Manager told me upgrades were available. The PS upgrade downloaded with no problem that I could tell. The AI upgrade, however, said it failed. I retried. Same result. Decided to uninstall both PS and AI that were already on my desktop. Restarted. Downloaded PS and AI again, this time with no problems at all. However...

 

Now, every time I try to launch AI or PS, all seems fine until a "welcome" window appears when the app is fully opened. At this point, everything on the computer freezes solid. Nothing I can do but manually shut down. Once I discovered that restarting normally resulted in the same windows reopening automatically (resulting in the same freeze situation), I shut down again and did a safe boot.

 

I've searched online for others' solutions until my head is spinning more than that damn beach ball. Can anyone help?? Please?

Creative Cloud Apps Freeze on my Mac 2 x 3 GHz Dual-Core Intel workstation

I accidentally tried to open an old Quark doc in Photoshop.  My system froze and I had to do a hard restart.  After that, every time I tried to launch any CC app my system would freeze.

 

I tried reinstalling my apps from TimeMachine, but they still froze.

 

I rest my Pram, still froze.

 

I uninstalled every CC product, and did a new installation and they still freeze.

 

My CS5 products are not affected.

 

Did I destroy a key line of code in terminal? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Why do I have a lot of CC application installs on my PC?

I'm using the cloud for a long time now. And, so now and then I got updates or try something new.

But my Windows machine is getting full of all those Creative Cloud releases. My start menu is growing and growing with Adobe, Adobe, Adobe (yeah alfabetical).

I got CS6 versions, I got CC versions, I got 64bit versions, I got CC 2014 versions and even a CC 2014.1 version (I tried Edge Animate, for the first time..., maybe that's where the 1 is refering to)

You could say, delete the old ones. But why? They are sometimes better than the new ones (because I have so many versions, I can compare).

 

Why is this such a mess.!

Sizes of Downloads for CC

Hi

 

I would like to know the sizes of any download from CC.

 

I have a capped subscription for the Internet and therefore I simply need to know what I can download when, and for that I need to know the file size.

 

Should be quite easy to give that vital information together with the description in the CC app.

 

Or is the filesize already hidden somewhere?

windows cannot find my programs

I've been using cs6 for over a year now. All of the sudden 3/4 of my programs don't even open. I get Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS6\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe'. Make sure you typed the name  correctly, and then try again.

 

I don't know what the hell happened to my programs. Re-installing them didn't do anything. Windows still can't find them. I am at a complete loss as to how to fix this. And adobe customer service has been very unhelpful. So hopefully someone on here has the answers. My Professional Career is on the line with these programs working properly.

I need to create Edge files that are compatible with a drupal module. Apparently the most recent update has changes to file structures and names that break the module. How can I get back to the previous version?

I didn't get my Surface Pro 3 at Adobe Max - what to do?!!

I was a registered attendee of Adobe Max this year, 2014.  I only attended Tuesday and Wednesday.  On Monday they announced that all attendees receive a free Surface Pro 3, but I didn't find this out until after it was over, 2 days later.  Does anyone know of any contacts or representatives that I could contact to try and get my Surface Pro 3?  Any other suggestions?
